I apologize for the delay in posting, sometimes a much needed break is forced upon you.

Onwards to what I alluded to...Cover songs, people either love them or hate them. I happen to love them when they're done well. Either as true to the original, or a wild re-interpretation. I've always got a folder to dump any cover song I find and like into there for projects like this. I've finally emptied most of this folder into the forthcoming eight mixes. I previously posted the 14 below from this folder so this project here isn't as robust as my remix series, yet still has plenty to digest over the coming days and weeks.

434 Krautrock mix 1

It was probably the late 90's when I first discovered Krautrock/Kosmische/Motorik music and really dove in deep.  Nurse With Wound's list was of course the treasure trove of name dropping to the Nth degree.  I think it was the reissue of Sand's Ultrasonic Seraphim that really drew me in.   Then the big three blew me away, Faust Can, & Neu!  I made this two CD mix probably early 2000s.  For fans of the genre there is nothing unexpected here.  For the uninitiated this is a good overview with some new tracks mixed in.

433 First of all, this too shall pass

This is a fan made soundtrack for a show that doesn't have an official soundtrack released.  I can make this fun by not mentioning the title to the show, though I doubt its hard to figure out.  Bonus if you can pick out the track in this list that was only mentioned, not played on the show.  It's not the greatest show ever, but has some tremendously funny parts and characters.  I usually only watch this one after a few (several) beers.  Still, damn near every episode has incredible music chosen and really accentuates the specific scenes.  I've seen other fan made playlists that either cover every track from the show, or highlight some of the songs I'm not as interested in.   This is the kind of show and soundtrack that reminds me that as much as I think I know about bands and music, there is always a whole world to explore.
