500c Moozlerantics - The early years

This set covers some of my earlier experiments, from 1994-2005.

Principle B 107 - This was touched up in 2005, but is actually some of the earliest sample based work I did
Ov -ites und -ettes (edit) - This track is actually an alternate recording from what was included on my bandcamp page, I think I made 5 or 6 versions of this one.
Feeling Nervous - The first track I officially released, on a Legendary Pink Dots tribute album of fan made original compositions
Feeling Nervous (remix) - a dramatically different version made a few months later
Obsidian - One of my favorites from my high school years
A Line in the Sand - Another from "realign the moon"
Bonus Track (Atacan las Brujas) - Completely built using Fruity Loops and the namesake El Santo movie
Perforate My Heart, Sunshine - Nearly all based on His Name Is Alive samples, with some supplemental original recordings
Tuning-Preparation - The opening track from my college music project, a re-interpretation of Berlioz's Faust except I did it as a live soundtrack to the Jan Svankmajer film Faust.
Epilogue...a new Faust - the closing track from my college music project.  Chaotic, but that's how the film ended.
Noise with his gun (loop4) - A very early loop-based collage using samples from Muslimgauze, The Sundays, Scorn, Volcano the Bear, a several others I can't remember now.
Influx - A performance piece for my high school talent show, I was in the background and invited anyone that felt like dancing up on stage, it got wild.  Lots of His Name Is Alive samples in here.
Eat Me, Lord - This is probably the first track I shared with my friends.
Denial (remix) - My first remix attempt.  The original recording was a band I was in at the time, and I can honestly say I have zero recollection of what I was doing or how this was made.  Everything was analog on metal 4-track cassettes so I got very inventive on this track.
Actualize and Instigate - Another from "Realign the Moon"
And This Is How It Will End - The closer from "Realign the Moon"

500b Moozlerisms

This set is an overview of my mid-late period (2003-2010), just before the work compiled on "Where it Ended."

Top Shelf Whiskey - my response to watching Brisco County Jr
Archazi Trib Long Loops - abandoned project based on samples provided by Archazi
Forlorn #7 - a track I dramatically reworked several times
Graven Image (Grave Dub #2) - A reworked track from an abandoned album
Untitled - A collaboration with my friend Matt, this was what I provided, he never responded.
We All Fall Like Rome (Dirty Version) - This is a one-take jam I did, taking inspiration from Jesu, Envy and Sunn O)))
An Affair To Remember (Guitar version) - This was my response to a friend's film release party, he still owes me money for some soundtrack work I did on another film.
Untitled Excerpt (Succubus) - A reworked track from my "Realign" period
It May Be - A track based on scrambling some samples from my friends the Wild Angels
The Farmer - A hodgepodge, the title comes from the Kimya Dawson track I sampled
Onset - Opening track from "Realign the Moon" album, sets the tone for the rest of those pieces.
Patiently - Another track based on more from the Wild Angels.
Serenade in A Major - A classical guitar piece I wrote, sadly the resolving chord is cut off.  This is part of a six piece suite - though the recordings are pretty rough for the rest of it.
Why I Love Colorado - This was reused on my only official album under the title "Seedy Market Street", this is an earlier version.
Why I Left You - I reused some rap vocals from a coworker back in 1994

420 THAT mix

A brief detour on this month's themes because tis time to celebrate that unofficial holiday.  I already did an all reggae/dub mix on the subject, only natural that I expanded to other genres of music that celebrate the stinky.  This one is all over the map, as is proper for the ADHD euphoria associated with it.  Something for everyone here.
