Starting a six day stretch showcasing the big beautiful dub infected world of Bill Laswell. This guy has touched near every genre of music, and has produced massive hits (Herbie Hancock's Rockit for example). He dove in and made some of the best illbient, drum and bass, free jazz, all when those genres were in their infancy. His exploration of ambient and world music is absolutely engrossing and rewarding. Here's a quick dip into that world music style, with some ambient moments. I didn't include much of his ambient music in this series of mixes as those are all generally album long pieces that should be taken in as a whole and not mixed together.
