Episode 14 - The Dubbier Side of Muslimgauze

Another episode focused on a single artist…and the discography for this artist is just astounding.  I won’t go into the politics behind this artist as those can be polarizing, instead focusing on a specific genre he toyed with to great success.  While the majority of the music Bryn Jones made was industrial and aggressive, he also had a keen interest in dub styled studio production techniques.  I pulled this mix together of some of the best examples I could find off the top of my head (with close to 200 CDs/LPs worth of material to go through, I know I couldn’t cover all grounds)

00:00 Abuses (Occupied Frequencies)
01:43 Jaagheed Zarb (#7) (Mort Aux Vaches)
06:08 Mecca (City of Djinn)
08:03 Pristina (Return to the City of Djinn)

14:15 Smooth Prophet (Classics Selection)
16:00 Untitled (Re-Mixs 2 #4)
