The wonderfully weird world of The Orb's remixes. They go wild in the best possible way, and I will dive into anything with their name on the credits. I've kind of stopped following their original material as it was probably the early 2000s when I felt their style changed too much from that ambient dub beginnings that made them legends in my book. Here I've pulled together 50 of my favorites. I know that's a lot, but there are just so many dang good ones.
The Orb has released three volumes of Auntie Aubrey's compilations of their remixes. This is significant as they tend to release those tracks in new edits, some extended, and most with additional samples layered in. Some of my mixes contain those version, though I tried to stay with the original version where I thought they help up enough on their own.
