605 Things Only Found Here

Having trolled the depths of the blogosphere for decades now, I can say that most of this set are songs you might only find here.  I've shared what background I have as to what makes these rare.  Some are oddball compilations that had limited runs, others are local bands that probably didn't make it outside our community.  Still others are gems from the forgotten age of email lists where bands might share exclusives with their fans, predating Patreon.

A2 - Woman of Dark Desires (Bathory)
From Todesblei Salonfähig Gemacht on Treue Um Treue, withdrawn LP likely due to copyright infringement.
A band from Colorado Springs, I used to hang with the drummer pretty often.  This might be their only recorded song.
Aion - What you need (feat Sotero)
A brother/sister combo I was friends with in High School.  Got some stories about both of them.
Crackerbash - Untitled
A hidden track on the LP.  I didn't know about it until I bought both the CD and LP and saw they each had a different hidden track, the CD's track was rereleased as the B side to Jasper 7"
Current 93 vs Bomb the Bass - Calling for Vanished Faces 1
A mashup that works better than I had imagined.  I remember the original mixer contacted me when I expressed appreciation for this on the C93 mail list, I don't remember who they were now.
Danny Hyde - The Great White Hype
An oddball freebie from Danny Hyde in the late 90s.
Der Blutharsch - A Rocking 2005
A freebie from the email distribution list back in 2005.
A version performed on a Commodore 64, credited to Taciturne
DJ Krazy - Krazy Groove (Seba and Lotek Mix by Alexi Deliano)
A track from the 12" supplement to OffBeat: A Red Hot Soundtrip album, I believe I've shared the other three tracks from this already.
Earthmonkey - The Name is Your Name
A gift from Pete Bog when I pre-ordered the album Audiosapien, yeah he didn't pronounce my name right, but who cares.
Four - Punkest way to Die (Live in Hangar 18)
Local band I probably saw two dozen times in the late 90s.
Gamelan Tunas Mekar - Puspanjali (traditional dance)
Our local Gamelan orchestra who I am pleased to see at least once a year.
Gnostic Gnomes - Der Tanza des Wurzelwichts
I call this a Novy Svet side-project, but they're likely more than just that.
His Name Is Alive - The Happy Cause its Only Getting Worse Blues
No idea where I came across this, likely the now defunct Time Stereo website, or email list back in the day.
Jowonio Productions - Apocalypse with Dill Pickle (Imperium II by Current 93)
I think I bought this from a list member back when I was on the COIL email distro.  A fun lil CD with Merzbow featured on one of the tracks.
Ken Rubenstein - Legs Akimbo
A flexi 7" from Guitar Player magazine.  I think this may be up on YouTube.
Kid606 - Break22
La Maison Moderne - Untitled
A hidden track on the only EP from this side project of Albin Julius.  Supposedly a result of too much wine in the recording studio, however this track and the opener are both pretty solid.
Their drummer used to be the drummer in my band.  They did release a couple albums, then lost everything in a house fire.
Les Marquises - Only Ghosts (Volcano Mix) on top of Aube's "Pages from the Book"
Nothing really unique other than I forgot I had Aube's track playing on my mixer when I was ripping this track.  Afterwards, I like the tension this mix provided so I kept it around.
Meat Beat Manifesto - We Done (skippy)
My CD got scratched to hell, and this is the result.  I kind of like it; it stretches parts and glitches others, and honestly sounds like it could've been intentional.
O Paradis - Borra Mis Huellas
From the Punch Records compilation "Drinking to Better Days"
A local band from Pueblo, CO.  I remember this full album was played on the radio as a promotion for them, so I copied it from there.
Red Snapper - Drum Guitar and Bass Loop
Early internet find that was mislabeled, here is the CD its from..
Sponge - Clouded Vision
Sponge - Benign Neglect
A local Colorado Springs Band that predated the more popular band Sponge.  I recall the guitarist lived in the same neighborhood as me in high school;  we crossed paths and had mutual respect - not that many punks in suburbia so we had to show solidarity.  Sorry for the sound quality here, this 7" had several drinks spilled on it over the years.
The Confessions - Beautiful Sin
Formerly the Deadites (who were better IMHO), this is from their only 7".  My college friend Adam ended up opening the best vintage store that puts the Rad in ColoRADo.
The Starvations - Horrified Eyes
A friends' cousins' band, or something like that.
Vas Deferens Organization - Riding the Milky Way on Pugs and Dolphins
This is from the third birthday 7" on Beta Lactam Ring Records.  This version is unique from the one on Lactamase: The Closure which I suppose is equally rare.
Victory Boy - One Reason
I was in a band and we went separate ways, shortly afterwards with a new singer they put out this album and then they split up (likely for the same reasons my band split up).
Wild Angels - Patiently
Two friends that were at our house constantly, it was the TGIFridays wait and bartender staff hangout.  I didn't work there, but was subjected to all their antics anyway.
Moozler - Patiently
I secretly remixed the Wild Angels track back in 2002ish, I think I used some Stockhausen sounds as well but can't remember anymore.
World Separation - Cancer
This was my Mom's friend's brother's band in the 90s.  I have a different and better version of this on a cassette somewhere.
Wrong Kind of Stone Age - Prettybodywinder (Rehearsal Version)
Wrong Kind of Stone Age - Pendulum
Early versions of tracks that got my attention when the Pelican Daughters released them in a new form.  I made friends with Andy Rantzen and fanboy'd out over Pelican Daughters, so he sent me a few CDs of rarities and unreleased gems.  A decade later I helped
Moozler - Pendulum (Exodus Version)
Yeah, I bootleg remixed this track as well, which caught the attention of O Paradis back on Myspace.  I take that as a highlight.
