The next three mixes continue my fascination with Ambient Americana. Each focused on a sub-genre if that's possible, building in some intensity towards more traditional song oriented tracks in the third. I found many new artists to explore and have really enjoyed this. These mixes have been in constant rotation while I'm working for the last couple weeks. So much so that I've slacked on compiling new mixes as a result.
Here are the previous four mixes I made.
00:00 Corntuth - C-005
04:40 Western Skies Motel - Leaving Behind
08:24 Elgafar - Serene
11:09 Barn Owl - Devotion I
16:58 SUSS - Everything is so Beautiful
18:39 Date Palms - Exodus Due West
22:10 Geir Sundstol - Los
24:53 Oiseaux-Tempete - Nuage Noir (May Roosevelt remix)
28:18 Nick Cave & Warren Ellis - Texas Midlands
30:12 Steve Roach & Roger King - Ghost Train
37:19 North Americans - Western Town, with Road to Mountain
41:09 Aix Em Klemm - The Luxury of Dirt
47:06 Tim Hecker - Step Away from Konoyo
51:30 David Sylvian & Holger Czukay - Premonition (Giant Empty Iron Vessel)
67:42 Luke Schneider - Anteludium
I listen to SUSS a lot, especially while at work. I look forward to hearing these other artists. You might like this album:

SUSS are masters of this style, I think you'll like the rest of these if you enjoy them. And thanks for that link, that's a good vibe to their sound. From the MX-80 guys as well, I'd never have expected it.
DeleteGlad you liked it! The MX-80 guys were/are film buffs (as you can tell from the song titles).
DeleteI like your comps. Tks! Carlos
