These three things are related. Skywave started it as noise rock / shoegaze supreme. When they split up, half became Ceremony and half became A Place To Bury Strangers. I was first introduced to a place to bury strangers through a Brainwashed.com enthusiastic review, and I dove in head first. Like the noisy era of Echo & The Bunnymen & Jesus and Mary Chain, all done with "Pornography" era Cure darkness.
